Funding and independence

The Fraser Institute is an independent non-profit organization with no affiliations to any political party. We depend entirely on contributions from thousands of individuals, organizations, and foundations. We also generate revenue from Institute events, the sale of publications, and from interest on invested endowment funds.

We welcome donations from people who believe in the mission and vision of the Institute and would like to support our work.

Independent Research
In order to protect the independence of our research, we do not accept grants from government or contracts for research, unlike many other similar organizations.

The Institute is non-political, and does not undertake lobbying activities.
