Dennis T. Avery is Director of the Center for Global Food Issues (CGFI) for the Hudson Institute of Indianapolis. He was formerly the senior agricultural analyst for the US Department of State. He is the author of Saving the Planet with Pesticides and Plastic (Hudson Institute). CGFI has received two small donations from the Albert N. Andreas Foundation and Archer Daniels Midland (ADM), and Dr. Avery has served as an unpaid advisor to ADM.
