Jeremy Brown is a former Policy Analyst in the Centre
for Studies in Risk, Regulation, and Environment at The Fraser
Institute. He received his M.Sc. in Natural Resource and
Environmental Economics from the University of Guelph in 2002
and his M.A. in Economics from the University of Arizona in
2003. He has written
Environmental Indicators
, contributed to
Fraser Forum
, and has had articles published in newspapers across the
country. He also managed the Canadian Statistical Assessment
Service (www.canstats.org), promoting the accurate use of
scientific statistics and social science research in
public-policy debate. His research has garnered a national
award from the Canadian Agricultural Economics Society, and has
been presented at several international scientific and economic
conferences.
