Dean Pelkey joined The Fraser Institute in 2006 and has more than 10 years experience in media relations and corporate communications within the oil and gas industry, auto insurance sector, and crown corporations. He was previously a print journalist, working for papers in BC and Alberta, and has a BFA from the University of British Columbia and a Journalism Certificate from Langara Community College.
