Nicholas Schneider is a former Policy Analyst with the
Fraser Institute's Centre for Risk, Regulation, and
Environment. Prior to joining the Institute, Nicholas worked
with the International Joint Commissions on emerging air
quality issues in the U.S.-Canadian trans-border region, and
with the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural
Affairs on nutrient and pesticide management policy. Nicholas
holds a M.Sc. in Environmental and Natural Resource Economics
and a B.Sc. in Environmental Science from the University of
Guelph. He has written on global climate policy and economics,
as well as the compliance costs of the Kyoto Protocol for the
Institute. Nicholas now works to find greenhouse gas reduction
opportunities for the shipping industry.
