Pamela Whalley is President of the Washington Council
on Economic Education and has been active in the area of
economic education for over twenty years. She received her
undergraduate and graduate training in economics from Indiana
University, where she was awarded both departmental and
university level teaching awards. Pam joined the faculty of
Western Washington University in 1985. She has taught a wide
variety of courses, including micro and macroeconomics courses
designed specifically for educators. As Associate Director and
later Program Director for the Center for Economic Education at
Western, she has developed, marketed and presented economic
education workshops to teachers and parents across the state of
Washington.
