The Fraser Institute offers a limited number of Travel Bursaries to cover
transportation and accommodation costs for students wanting to attend our
Explore Public Policy student seminar in Vancouver.
If you are passionate about the economy, business, and critical issues of the
day, join other students from across BC and listen to community and business
leaders address important public policy issues. Enjoy a challenging and
inspiring day of discussion and inquiry while networking with like-minded
individuals.
Bursary Includes:
- Airfare from the closest major BC airport to Vancouver
- Return transportation from airport to conference hotel
- Shared hotel accommodation on Friday and Saturday nights
- Attendance at the Explore Public Policy Issues seminar on Saturday
- Saturday morning breakfast, breaks, lunch and reception with speakers
Eligibility:
- You must be a student currently enrolled in Grade 12, college, or university
- You must be a resident of British Columbia that lives outside of the Lower
Mainland, Victoria, Prince George, or the Kelowna area (from Vernon to Penticton)
- You must be between the ages of 17 and 30
Please note: there will be a seminar in Kelowna on March 2, 2012. Therefore Kelowna residents, and those located in surrounding areas, are no longer eligible for the travel bursary.
