Addington Centre for the Study of Measurement

The Addington Centre for the Study of Measurement was established in 2008 with a donation from the late Ray Addington, former chairman of the Fraser Institute board of trustees.  The Centre commemorates Mr. Addington with a prize for a paper that best identifies issues in economics and public policy that should be measured, exemplifying the Institute's motto "if it matters, measure it."

In 2009, cash prizes went to five authors and one video from across Canada and the US for their papers on measurement.
