What is your vision for Canada? What would Canada look like if it offered its citizens the highest quality of life and economic performance in the world?
In the series “A Canada Strong and Free,” Fraser Institute Senior Fellows Mike Harris and Preston Manning present their vision to make Canada the best and most prosperous democratic federation in the world. As part of the solution, they call for the federal government to simply respect the Canadian constitution. In other words, matters of provincial jurisdiction such as health and education should be left to the provinces without Ottawa’s involvement.
