Jonathan Fortier Jonathan Fortier Jonathan Fortier earned his MPhil and his doctorate at the University of Oxford. He is interested in how liberty and free markets (and related concepts such as individual rights, property, law, spontaneous order, decentralization, individual choice) find expression in literature and the arts. Dr. Fortier was a Fellow with Liberty Fund for three years, taught for two years at Bishop's University, and is now the Senior Director of Academic Initiatives at the Institute for Humane Studies in Washington, DC. As a Senior Fellow, Dr. Fortier works on a variety of different projects with The Fraser Institute.
