About the Event
In the Economic Freedom of the World Teacher Workshop, an award winning economics educator presents on eight lesson plans which highlight the impact of economic freedom on global prosperity. The content of these lessons directly complements the Economics 12, Social Studies 11, Comparative Studies 12, Law 12, Human Geography 12, Political Studies 12, and Urban Studies 12 curricula.
With materials updated in 2017, and using the new Economic Freedom of The World website, this workshop provides teachers with an interactive learning experience that examines the recent recession and resulting impact on economic freedom. Each teacher leaves with detailed lesson plans to integrate into their classrooms, and a copy of the 2016 Economic Freedom of the World wall map.
