2019-2020 Travel Bursary Application Form (Ontario)

The Travel Bursary program allows students from rural Ontario to attend the Fraser Institute’s post-secondary seminar in Toronto on Saturday, October 26, 2019. Selected students will be required to travel to Toronto on Friday, October 25, and return on Sunday, October 27, 2019.

Please note that students between the ages of 17 - 30 who are currently enrolled in college, or university, and reside in Northern Ontario, outside of the GTA, are eligible to apply.

Program Guidelines

The Travel Bursary program is open to students between the ages of 17 - 30 who are currently enrolled in college, university, and reside in Northern Ontario outside of the GTA.
Application deadline for the Travel Bursary is Monday, September 30, 2019 (9:00 am EST).
All applicants that apply for the Travel Bursary will be notified in early October.
Students will be selected by Fraser Institute staff.
Student participants must commit to attend all aspects of the student seminar and travel program, including meals.
Student participants must write a brief summary about their experience following the event.
Failure to fulfill any of the program requirements will result in disqualification from the program, and invoicing for the cost of the Travel Bursary.
The approximate value of this Travel Bursary is $1,200.
