Economic Freedom in Action: Changing Lives
Produced by the Free to Choose Network. This documentary is based on the Fraser Institute's Economic Freedom of the World 2012 Annual Report and profiles five stories of entrepreneurs from around the world who have risen out of poverty and built better futures for themselves and their communities due to increased economic freedom. From honey bees in Chile to a Paul Frank store in Slovakia, from a food distribution service in Zambia to a North Korean defector who serves as a venture capitalist to his fellow defectors in South Korea, this film shows economic freedom in action, and how it is transforming lives and entire nations.

The three-part PBS documentary, Commanding Heights: The Battle for the World Economy is based on the book of the same name by Daniel Yergin, Pulitzer Prize winning author of The Prize, and Joseph Stanislaw, a leading expert on the global marketplace.
