Canadian Healthcare: Diagnosis, Prognosis, Prescription
Does Canada have the best health care system in the world? How sustainable is our current system? How can we improve it? Canadians care deeply about their health care, and our universal single-payer system is the focal point of constant attention. Mr. Barua will present objective international comparisons of performance, discuss recent and projected trends in spending, and propose some potential solutions based on the experiences of other countries with universal health care systems.

How the Coming Age of Longevity will Change Everything
Humanity is on the cusp of an exciting longevity revolution. The first person to live to 150 years has probably already been born.

In 100 PLUS, technology analyst and Silicon Valley insider Sonia Arrison lays out a thorough roadmap of the exciting new world confronting us, where fresh organs for transplants will be grown in laboratories, cloned stem cells will bring previously unstoppable death-sentence diseases to their knees, and living past 100 will be the rule, not the exception. She delivers a thorough and incisive summary of how longer and healthier lives will upend our personal, financial, and spiritual habits and how we must work to speed up progress so that longer lives are not only available to the next generation, but also to those who are adults today.

Breaking Up Big Tech Isn’t Easy
People across the ideological spectrum want to break up big tech companies. What many advocates fail to think through, however, is precisely how breaking up these companies would work, and what the impact would be on both these companies and the broader tech marketplace. Breaking up tech companies means that government has to break up the firms’ teams and underlying technology. It also has to put into place a legal and regulatory system that keeps the targeted firms separate from other markets. In short, it is a regulatory death sentence.
