Robin Neill holds a BA and MA in Political Economy
from the University of Toronto, and a PhD in Economics from
Duke. Since 1960, he has taught at the University of
Saskatchewan, the University of Prince Edward Island, and
Carleton University. He was Special Advisor to the Fisheries
Council of Canada and the Department of Fisheries and Oceans,
1984-1985.
His publications include A New Theory of Value: The Canadian
Economics of H.A. Innis, A History of Canadian Economic
Thought, a number of articles in scholarly journals, and other
contracted studies and papers. His research interests include
the history of economic development and policy in Canada, and
the history of economic thought.
